The Only Thing You Need to See — A Miracle-Minded Message
Overview
In this Miracle-Minded Message, the Holy Spirit gently redefines darkness and light—not as external conditions, but as states of perception. Darkness is the inability to see truly, while light is the clarity that comes through faith in our eternal Oneness with God.
Through simple logic and compassionate imagery, this message reveals how forgiveness dissolves false perception and restores true seeing. By choosing faith over appearances, the mind steps out of fear and into peace, allowing the Light of Truth to shine where separation once seemed real.
The Only Thing You Need To See
A Message From The Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit: I would like you to step out of the darkness, and into the Light.
ME: I’d absolutely love to do that! Except that sounds so metaphorical that I’m afraid I don’t know how to do what you’re asking me to do.
HS: Then let us take a closer look at what it is I am asking you to do. First, what is darkness? It is the inability to see, correct?
ME: I suppose so.
HS: And the opposite of darkness then must be light, which is the ability to see, correct?
ME: Your logic follows through so far, yes.
HS: Well then in order to see in the dark, you must turn on the light. Right now, you are looking out at a world of darkness.
ME: Okay, I can really believe that, but how do we “turn on the light” so we can see?
HS: Faith.
ME: Faith?
HS: Yes faith. Faith in what your eyes cannot see, but what you know to be true. Faith is to believe in something despite physical evidence to the contrary. In other words, it is to accept the Truth of your Being in the face of what you see.
ME: All right, keep going…
HS: In Reality, you are all equals. You are all equally loved and beloved of Me. You all stand in the perfect Light of Oneness in My Love, such as I created you. No one has more and no one has less in the Reality of My Truth. But here, in the world you presently see all around you with your bodily eyes, you see inequality, unfairness and bitter disappointments. No circumstances appear equal for all human beings.
ME: I see that’s very true. So what you’re saying here is that we are not seeing what You see, which is our equality in You? And we should have faith in the Light that unifies us all?
HS: Yes. Light = True Seeing and true seeing is achieved through forgiveness of what you now see falsely: the world of separation, inconsistency and desperation all around you. In My Reality you are One in Light, constant for all eternity and no one is desperate for anything.
ME: Okay, so how do we forgive the world we see and bring Light into our mind … and become “En-Lightened?”
HS: You must release your mind to My Light, which is the realization of your Oneness, which brings you joy to know none of what this world shows you is the Truth and this logically brings you peace. And so it is that, My Light and Joy and Peace abide in you.
ME: Ah ha. I see. You’re right. It’s a relief to know that none of the inequality here carries forward into Your Reality of perfect equality. Is that why people say there’s a light at the end of the dark tunnel?
HS: Yes, but you don’t have to wait until you die to see it. Light = Forgiveness of darkness (separation), and darkness is seeing incorrectly, or not seeing at all. When you sit in the dark and hear a sound, it may frighten you, only because you do not know what it is. But once you identify the truth, you feel much better, and even laugh at what you were so afraid of. So it is with all of you here now. You think you know what you see, and you are frightened of the world around you because you do not understand what it is in Truth. And when you uncover the Truth – when you understand the world is not what you thought it was, you will see only the Truth; your One Self, unified in My Love and Light. And My Reality will rise up shining before your eyes.
ME: So, our only job here then is to rid the world of darkness by recognizing we are Spirit, and accepting our place in Your Oneness - despite all of us looking separate here in our bodies?
HS: Yes. And each of you has this same part, and each of you is essential to My Plan for your Awakening.
ME: Okay. I think I got it. Light comes into our mind through having faith in the Truth of our Oneness, despite the separation we see between us. And if the separation we see is not the truth, then neither is anything else we see – because it is ALL separation. And if none of it is true, we can all just relax and forgive everything we see! This will then bring us joy and peace. Correct?
HS: And so you now see how to step out of the darkness and into the Light.
ME: You make it all sound so easy peasy, but keeping my eyes open to Your Light will be the tricky part! This world begs me to believe in its separation, instead of Your Oneness.
HS: Remember: you know nothing, and can see no one as they are in truth. My Light surrounds you at all times, which resides within each and every one of you. Reach out to Me in every face you see and you will See correctly. Then the dark will lift from your eyes.
