You Are Here To Save The World — A Miracle-Minded Message
Overview
In this Miracle-Minded Message, the Holy Spirit gently reframes the idea of “saving the world,” not as a heroic external act, but as an inner shift in perception. Salvation is revealed as the natural result of forgiveness — the healing of the belief in separation.

A Message From The Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit: The salvation of the world depends on each of you.
ME: Those words sound mighty big. Not sure we’re up for the task, much less how to do it. What exactly does this job entail?
HS: I will say it again in a way that helps you feel it is more manageable:
Salvation of the world depends on your forgiveness of it.
ME: For the sake of everyone’s clarity, will You please explain what You mean by “forgiveness” of the world?
HS: I will explain forgiveness as defined in “A Course In Miracles:”
“Forgiveness is the healing of the perception of separation.” (ACIM CH.3.V.9.1)
ME: Okay, so how do we save the world by healing our perception of separation through forgiveness?
HS: You save the world, by forgiving all you see. You are forgiving the sight of all that lies between you and Me. The physical world blinds your eyes to what lies within all living things. And if forgiveness is the healing of your perception of separation, then you heal your vision by choosing to see all things as joined in My Love; the Holy Spirit. Do not see anything but perfect Oneness with all living things. Forgiveness is to look past all forms and seeing My Light within.
ME: Still sounds out of our league.
HS: Well there is one thing you must do before this task can be accomplished.
You must first bless yourself. And I can tell you; very few people know how to give a proper blessing to anyone, much less themselves.
ME: Enlighten us please.
HS: What is the greatest blessing you can give yourself? What is the one gift you have been given by God that you can extend through yourself to the entire world?
You bless the world when you bless yourself, by seeing yourself through the eyes of forgiveness. Forgiveness is to see beyond your form to the light within, and so forgiveness of yourself is to not see your identity as being a body. You know yourself as part of My One Light. And since My Light extends to all things, then you know that YOU extend to all things, and thus bless the world along with Me. This blessing is the greatest gift you can give; the blessing of My peace with all things through knowing your unity with them through Me.
This is the task I have given each of you to accomplish.
ME: I think it’s above our pay grade.
HS: There is nothing you must do but understand this process is happening now. Here in the present moment, the peace of God is shining in each of you now. My peace is the Holy Spirit that resides within you, uniting you all. Forgive all that seems to separate you, and you will feel My Love within you.
ME: I feel like many of us are trying to do this, but nothing seems to happen.
HS: I assure you, miracles are happening each moment you shift your thinking from hatred to peace.
ME: Well, we don’t often see those miraculous results.
HS: You stated above that you would like Me to enlighten you. Let Me help clarify exactly what that means:
“Enlightenment is but a recognition, not a change at all. Light is not of the world, yet you who bear the light in you are alien here as well. The light came with you from your native home, and stayed with you because it is your own. It is the only thing you bring with you from Him Who is your Source.” (A Course In Miracles Lesson 188, 1.4-7)
ME: Ah, so “enlightenment” is simply the recognition of our Inner Light - our true inner Self that is One with You.
HS: And when you believe this Light is your Identity, your mind will become “lighter” - released from the burdens of this world because you have forgiven it at last.
Your given task is to see only My Light within yourself and everyone else.
And so it its through this inner recognition of My Truth that you will come to work miracles. It is through your faith and belief in the truth of My Presence within you that you will come to automatically choose to feel My love and My joy instead of the pain of this world, thus redeeming it and bringing it salvation.
