MESSAGE 7: WOULD YOU RATHER BE DRIVEN FORWARD BY YOUR EGO, OR LED PEACEFULLY AHEAD BY GOD? Would you rather your ego dictates your happiness; one who does not have your best interests at heart, or follow the loving Voice for God instead? You have the power to choose. And these are your only two choices. You cannot serve two masters. Your mind rests with one or the other. You know who you have chosen as your guide by how you feel. Being driven by the ego is painful. You feel upset, angry, hurt, mistreated, abused, and victimized. Yes, feeling like a victim is an emotion that stems from the ego, for only the ego believes you are a body, and only bodies can be abused. But never your soul. That has the strength of My Love behind it. Never your Inner Self. That has the strength of My Love above and below it. Never your heart. That has the strength of My Love within it. My guidance is always some form of peace. And if you have chosen to follow the wrong guidance, you always have the power to choose again. My patience is endless and My Love all-encompassing and complete. You cannot fail. I know this because I am part of you. We do all things together, never apart as the ego would have you believe. Do not let the ego drive you through life with its insane ideas and painful thoughts. Let Me quietly walk before you, gently paving the way, despite how unsettling it may appear before you. The undoing of your ego’s tight hold does not have to be painful or frightening. It can be done with a whisper of love if you will but allow Me to be in the front of your mind at all times. You will know you have done this by the level of acceptance, peace, non-judgment, and love that you allow to guide you. I am The Stillness. Let your thoughts about all that causes you pain and suffering to be still, and you have allowed Me to take My rightful place within your mind and heart. And we will walk peacefully ahead together, weathering the world with grace and love.
